In winter, the biggest impacts on air compressor operation are the drop in temperature and the increase in viscosity of the air compressor lubricating oil.
1. Appropriately raise the temperature of the air compressor room (above 0℃) to keep the air compressor unit warm.
2. Insulate the external parts of relevant pipelines to prevent the condensate discharged during air compressor operation from freezing.
3. After the air compressor stops, open the relevant drain valves of the air tank, dryer, and various pipelines. Close the valves only after all condensate has drained to prevent freezing.
4. Use antifreeze hydraulic oil in cold regions. Use -10 diesel fuel for diesel-powered mobile air compressors.
5. Start the air compressor 2-3 times, preheat for about 10 minutes, pause for a few minutes, and then start it up according to the normal operating procedure.
6. For air compressors that have been shut down for a long time, check the oil circuit and other components first. Start the air compressor only after everything is normal.
7. During use in cold weather, frequently check the various indicators of the air compressor unit to ensure they are working properly and perform timely maintenance.
